Notary in Oakville: Professional & Accessible Document Services
In an increasingly digital world, the need for physical verification of legal documents remains a cornerstone of security. Whether you are finalizing real estate transactions in another city or country, applying for a Permanent Resident Card, preparing Travel Consent Letters, are generally needing your oath taken on a sworn statement/affidavit, or you don’t want to part with your original documents and need photocopies to be notarized/authenticated, you need a trusted official to verify your identity and the authenticity of your paperwork.
At Nachla Law Office, we provide comprehensive notary services to the Oakville community. Our office is fully accessible, and we pride ourselves on being a reliable alternative to the Town Clerk’s office or a Notary Services Kiosk. We offer both scheduled sessions and walk-ins are welcome during our regular business hours to ensure your legal documents are processed without delay. Our regular business hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
There are two types of documents that require a notary or commissioner of oaths:
1. You require your oath to be taken on a document. Here you swear or affirm that the contents of the document are true. Examples include affidavits and statutory declarations. You should prepare these documents in full before you come into our office, but wait for one of our notaries to witness your signature. We do not provide legal advice regarding the document(s) or their contents. We simply take your oath or affirmation. Please remember to bring photo identification with you. The purpose of the notary/commission is to authenticate your identity and signature for the recipient of your document.
2. You require a certified true copy of an original document. You must bring your original document to our office so that we may certify a true copy of it.
